Meet the team: Kibble the corgi!

If you’ve spent some time on this website, you will have no doubt noticed that there is just one person listed on the about page, me - Jessie Upton. But there is another key member of the Wanna Art About It team who you may meet if you join us for an art therapy session or workshop….

Introducing Kibble! 🐾

Kibble is our studio assistant and chief treat inspector at Wanna Art About It. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who loves snacks, meeting people and playing chase!

At Wanna Art About It, Kibble often joins us for our sessions, ready for pats, a snooze or a play.

Kibble FAQs

  • Kibble was born in Queensland in 2019.

  • When he was a puppy, he spent a lot of his time in the hallways of Arts Centre Melbourne and would sometimes be scooped up by the CEO for some snuggle sessions. We are 90% sure he met Nick Cave and will continue to be jealous about that forever.

  • Kibble’s favourite treat is cheese. His favourite word is also cheese because it usually means you are going to give him cheese. His favourite sound is the fridge opening because yep.. that’s where the cheese lives!

  • Kibble also works as a Seagull Patrol Dog at Federation Square with Maddogs and Englishmen Seagull Patrol.
The first corgi to join the team, you can usually find him on patrol on Thursdays, protecting people (and their lunches) from swooping seagulls!
